Monday: Lab 22
Every Monday at Lab 22 in Cardiff is Moonshine Monday, an evening filled with live jazz performances and elegant prohibition era-inspired cocktails. It’s a great way to kick off your week as it’s remarkably relaxed yet refined with plush interiors and vintage decor. You can even take a look at the Monday menu to get a taste before you go, and they’re open until 2am if you enjoy jazz late into the night.

Tuesday: Brewhouse
Cardiff’s premier sports bar and live music venue is also home to Tropical Tuesdays where students can enjoy a host of great offers on drinks. Happy hour is every day at Brewhouse between 5pm and 7pm, or you can opt for the student deals that include mixers and beers from £2.50 and 2 for £6 on cocktails. Wednesday: Y Plas
YOLO is one of the most popular student club nights in Cardiff that happens every Wednesday at Y Plas in Cardiff University’s student union, which you’ll find less than a 20-minute walk away from our Cardiff Met accommodation. Open from 9pm to 3am, you’ll have three rooms over two floors to choose from with everything from cheesy hits to big club bangers to dance the night away to. There’s always an excitable crowd, some of the best live DJs in Cardiff and great deals on drinks so you’re sure to have an unforgettable midweek night out.

Thursday: Retro
One of the most exciting things about our student accommodation in Cardiff is that both Eclipse and the Neighbourhood both offer private karaoke rooms exclusively for residents. However, if you’re looking to go out on the town with course mates or friends from societies, you need to head down to Retro bar for Karaoke Thursdays. Happy hour is between 7pm and 11pm with plenty of deals on drinks, and is open until 4am so plenty of time to belt out your favourite old school power ballads.

Friday: The Philharmonic
