You’ll be resting up and recharging ready to hit the books or the next big night out in no time!
Rescue Rooms
If live music is the vibe you’re after, that can only mean a night out in the Rescue Rooms. This illustrious venue has been hosting the biggest indie names (including The Killers, James Bugg, Calvin Harris and Chase & Status) since 2003 but it’s not averse to holding a classic club night either. In fact, Rescue Rooms hosts one of the longest-running and best student nights in Nottingham on a Tuesday, and is well-loved for its Wednesday karaoke nights too. With a choice of dedicated rooms across two floors, you’ll always be guaranteed a good time with great-value drinks, free entry and a dance floor open to the early hours.
INK
INK isn’t just one of the best nightclubs in Nottingham, it’s truly an experience like no other. Situated in a Grade II listed building, the main auditorium is a sight to behold, which sits alongside ultra modern and high tempo light shows, as well as a 9-metre high LED video wall. While it’s a relatively new Nottingham nightclub, it boasts four rooms and eight bars across one complex so it’s easily the largest nighttime offering you’re likely to find in the city. And less than a 10-minute walk from your Nottingham Trent University accommodation – what more could you need!
Bodega
The Bodega is a rare find in Nottingham nightlife; a venue that’s brimming with a calendar of events that will suit every taste. It’s famed for pop-filled Friday nights – another one of our top rated best student nights in Nottingham – epic Tuesday quiz nights and club nights that offer funk, soul, motown, R&B, hip hop; basically any genre you can think of! With chilled interiors, it’s a laid back vibe but with a party atmosphere and a dance floor that’s open until the early hours of the morning.
Hockley Arts Club
The Hockley Arts Club has been a mainstay of Nottingham nightlife for years and with very good reason. From morning to night, this quirky venue hosts drinks, sharing platters, bottomless afternoon tea and more, as well as live DJs, club nights and great tunes. From its bottom floor Stockhold room up to the indoor roof garden, you’ve got vibes (and Instagram posts) for days at this eclectic spot. As it’s in the heart of Nottingham’s Lace Market area, check out our round up of the best pizzas in Nottingham if you’re after something a bit more substantial before your evening out.
Bierkeller
For something a little different, Bierkeller is a great Nottingham nightclub that’s also a premier sports bar. Packed with TV screens and projectors as well as pool tables and darts lanes, you can enjoy live sport and games during the day but continue partying into the early hours at one of their many dedicated club nights. The long family-style seating makes it the perfect spot for the Taste + Liquor R&B brunches, which are a great way to start your weekend!
