Tuesdays: The Hideout
The best thing about The Hideout is it can be a student night any night of the week. If you’re looking for a private booth to watch the best live sport, or prefer to sit and play some video games with your mates, or maybe you’re just looking for delicious cocktails at a good price – The Hideout has got you covered. On top of their great offering, they also serve up delicious food including loaded fries and posh kebabs. It really is one of the best places for students in Derby.

Wednesday: Popworld
Nestled just behind our student accommodation in Derby is the venue for the university’s official student night, Popworld. Mukky Wednesdays promises not only the best student party anthems, the best drinks deals but also giveaways, imaginative fancy dress themes and of course, a bustling dancefloor that you’ll be sharing with around 1000 other students. It’s one of Derby’s biggest and best student nights so it’s not to be missed!

Thursday: The Bless
A team from the student union usually attends the pub quiz at The Bless on a Wednesday, however we think the Thursday Dog Bingo night is well worth a trip too. You don’t need to bring a dog to take part, but it is an opportunity to enjoy a good old fashioned game of bingo with your friends and maybe get to play with some furry friends too. There’s also prizes (for dogs as well as their humans) to be won, and all in the comfort of a cosy local pub that is more than welcoming to students, with all money raised from entrance fees going to Dog Team UK and the RSPCA on Abbey Street.

Friday: Moo Moo
Moo Moo is one of the most popular student clubs in Derby and Friday night is CODE – three floors of music and dance floors packed with hundreds of your fellow students. Playing a huge mix of dance, party anthems, R&B and grime, you’re sure to find the vibe that gets you dancing. If you get you and your friends on the guestlist, you can enjoy £1 entry before 11:30pm although they do offer late entry until 2am, so you can enjoy your favourite city centre bars beforehand without worrying about rushing over to beat the queues.

Saturday: Fever
Fever in Derby is one of the best places for students to celebrate an occasion in style. With a variety of drinks packages available, you can rent stylish booths and rooms for you and your friends.
