Portsmouth and Southsea station is just a 7 minute walk from our St James Street accommodation and a 2 minute walk from the city centre.
Portsmouth Harbour station is a short walk from a range of attractions, including shops and restaurants at Gunwharf Quays, Spinnaker Tower, and the Historic Dockyard.
Portsmouth Harbour station is also close to ferry connections to the Isle of Wight and Gosport.
Bus
Portsmouth is served by the National Express network so you’ll always be able to hop on a bus to get in and around the city and its surrounding areas.
Walk or cycle
Being a compact and flat city, Portsmouth is remarkably easy to explore by bike using the city’s cycling routes. All of our student accommodation in Portsmouth offers secure bike storage, however, you also can hire bikes from a number of places in the city.
